Nexus goes back to the sixties

Nexus Drum & Bugle Corps has announced their 2013 show called 'The Summer of Love'. The corps goes back to the sixties.
The sixties brought tremendous change. Culturally, things began percolating during the previous decade only to explode during the Vietnam War. At the same time, technical innovations changed how people lived while music changed how people thought. All the while, the Cold War continued to wage.
Nexus' new show is about this period of change. Music pieces of 'The Summer of Love' include 'Overture to Miss Saigon', 'Paint it Black', 'Nights in White Satin' and 'Aquarius/Let the Sunshine'. This year, Nexus will enter the DCE European Championships.
