First Italian ever to march a DCI corps
Michele Moriggi of the Millennium Marching Band from Verdello - Italy will march The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps this summer. He is the first Italian ever to march a DCI corps.
The Cavaliers held their auditions in November last year, and Michele was one of the 500 people who wanted to have a spot with the corps. After an intensive camp, The Cavaliers staff told Michele that he had his spot for the 2005 season in the mellophone line.
Michele is now on tour with the Cavaliers, and the corps is doing great in the competition. In August, the corps from Rosemont - Illinois will defend their 2004 World Title in Foxboro. No matter how the competition will turn out, Michele's dream has already come true. For him, marching The Cavaliers is a great personal victory, and a unuique experience.
