DCE will run live webcast of Championships
Drum Corps Europe will again be broadcasting the DCE European Championships live this year. Those who are unable to make it to the event this year can still feel like they are there through a video webcast on the DCE website. And this year there will also be interviews and analyses.
Drum Corps Europe will again be broadcasting the DCE European Championships live this year. Those who are unable to make it to the event this year can still feel like they are there through a video webcast on the DCE website. And this year there will also be interviews and analyses.
The Drum Corps Europe webcast has become a well-known concept. Of course DCE would prefer to have as many visitors as possible at the stadium, but they also want fans who cannot make it to the European Championships to still be able to watch them. What's more, it is also a great opportunity to show other continents what great shows are made here. Internationally, the number of viewers of the event has increased dramatically in recent years.
The broadcast will be more extended this year. The live feed of the shows is supplemented with interviews and analyses. Robby Overvliet will host the webcast. In the breaks, Joe Fitzpatrick and Paul Doop will shed light on the shows from their perspective. The full webcast team consists of Rob Beeren, Maikel Linders, Willem Buijs, Marco Janssen, Steven Miller and Daniëlle Linders.
The webcast will be available free of charge. As always, the speed, quality and reliability of the internet connection can make or break a webcast. Drum Corps Europe will make every effort to ensure that the connection is good. The webcast will start on Saturday at 9:30am and will finish around 11pm.
