1000 'likes' for DCE on Facebook
Drum Corps Europe is becoming increasingly popular online too. New Twitter followers are signing up almost daily from all over the world and DCE has now been 'liked' on Facebook by more than 1,000 people.
Drum Corps Europe is becoming increasingly popular online too. New Twitter followers are signing up almost daily from all over the world and DCE has now been 'liked' on Facebook by more than 1,000 people.
In addition to over 1000 likes on Facebook, the number of followers on Twitter now exceeds 2000. The drum corps news of the DCE website can also be followed on Twitter, where each language has its own feed.
DCE is very happy that it is able to reach an increasing number of drum corps fans online, because this brings international attention to the competition circuit, and therefore to our fantastic hobby. This attention is not just great for the corps, but will hopefully also get more people enthusiastic about drum corps.
This is why DCE has been trying to get people's attention for years, not only in traditional ways, but also with its own iPhone app, a live webcast of the DCE Championships, and social media.
