The DCE European Championships of 2012 will once again have a phenomenal line-up. No less than 22 top corps from six different countries will compete with each other. How are the competitors doing and what do they have in store for the audience? We will introduce them to you in 7 episodes.

Country: The Netherlands
Class: Premier Class
Show programme: 'Metamorphosis: From Anger to Love'

The recognisable themes of anger and love are the focal point at Juliana; the choice between the two polar opposites. Will they act out of hatred or love? This includes a performance of the song 'Everlasting Love'. "Where in recent years the limits of drum corps on a visual and musical scale have been sought, 2012 is mainly about the audience", says the corps.

Country: The Netherlands
Class: Premier Class
Show programme: 'Stairway'

Jubal's show is based on the song 'Stairway to Heaven' by Led Zeppelin. According to the 101-year-old club, the programme 'Stairway' is about 'the new step up on the ladder'. Stairs are therefore the focal point of the programme that connects different levels. Songs such as 'Synchronicity' by The Police, 'Kashmir' by Led Zeppelin and 'When We Dance' by Sting, as well as the Beatles classic 'Eleanor Rigby' are woven into the show.
