DCA publishes 'sneak preview' of contest schedule
The American all-age organisation Drum Corps Associates has published a sneak preview of the contest schedule for this summer. This year, the DCA competitive season features twenty contests.
The competition will start on the 16th of June in Wildwood, New Jersey. After that there is a DCA contest practically every weekend until the end of August, in ten different states. On the 1st and 2nd of September, the DCA Championships will take place in Annapolis. More complete and detailed information will be posted in the spring.
The DCA has yet to announce which corps are participating. Last year there were over twenty corps, and Minnesota Brass took the Open Class title for the first time in its history.
