Beatrix member joins Vanguard winter guard
Beatrix member Danielle Bernaert will be joining the winter guard of Santa Clara Vanguard for five months this winter. She left for the United States last Sunday.
Bernaert sent an audition tape and was accepted by Vanguard. Santa Clara Vanguard won the Independent World Class title this year, the highest class in Winter Guard International, for the second time in the space of a few years.
Bernaert began her career with the Beatrix Corps Association in 1995, as a member of Jong Beatrix. In 2001, she made the move to Beatrix Drum & Bugle Corps. Bernaert will be writing a blog about her experiences in the States on the Beatrix website.
