DCE and DCG to partner more closely
Drum Corps Europe and Drum Corps Germany want to work together more closely in the future. In a meeting in the German town Rheine, late January, the boards of the drum corps organisations spoke about the common goals and challenges.
During the meeting, many projects have been discussed. The boards have spoken about the contests and education opportunities for judges. Furthermore, the contest rules and regulations of both DCG and DCE will be analysed and possibly adjusted in order to create the same basis (for 2006 or later).
The meeting was very positive for both organisatins. DCG and DCE agree that joining forces is essential for the further growth of drum corps in Germany and Europe. Additional meetings will follow in the coming months.
