Jersey Surf joins BDEntertainment
The Jersey Surf has announced a 'professional collaboration' with San Francisco-based BDEntertainment, the corporate- and special-events affiliate of The Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps.
BDEntertainment CEO, David Gibbs, is passionate about the future of this new entertainment venture. "Now is the time", noted Gibbs, who has served as the Director of the Blue Devils for the past 14 years, "the phone calls and emails are a strong indication that this unique type of entertainment is in demand for corporate gatherings and who better to serve that need than the Blue Devils."
"We're very pleased to have the opportunity to work with BDEntertainment in this new endeavor", said Bob Jacobs, Executive Director of The Jersey Surf. "Establishing this relationship with BDE enables us to create and expand tremendous performance opportunities for our organization and our members, and also enables us to learn from the very best in the business."
The first project of this exciting collaboration is the creation and administration of the 'Screecher Creatures' percussion ensemble for the NBA's New Jersey Nets.
