Final regular season weekend for DCA
As the corps jockey for positions entering the DCA 2009 Championships in Rochester September 4th, 5th and 6th, DCA closes one of its strongest regular seasons ever this Saturday, August 29th, with shows in Reading, PA and Bridgeport, CT.
In Bridgeport, in a show relocated to the friendly confines of JFK Stadium, Empire Statesmen and the Host CT Hurricanes will duke it out along with the charging Bushwackers and Brigadiers.
In Reading, host Buccaneers and Hawthorne Caballeros will be joined by Rochester Crusaders along with Fusion Core, Grenadiers, White Sabers and Shenandoah Sound. These shows are a great opportunity to see many of DCA's finest hit their peak and fight for as high a seed as possible going into the September 5th Preliminary Competition in Rochester - New York.
Final positions in preliminary competition will be determined by reverse order of the highest score posted by each corps throughout the season. Those corps declared Class A will go on first. Then the Open Class corps will take the field.
