BYBA Band Camp with Clay Wachholz
Celebrate the end of the 2009 season in style, open to everyone in the activity, corps, bands, winterguards and interested independents. The BYBA event takes place at Haven Seaview Holiday Park, Weymouth from Thursday 5th to Sunday 8th November 2009. All holiday centre facilities are open and available throughout the day and evening so if you want to have a drink or eat in the Quay Side bar and diner, use the swimming pool or arcade or just relax, the entertainment staff are here to take care of you. The evening entertainment facilities commence at 8pm and include all of the Haven characters, Funstars, Cabaret acts and dancing til late.
On staff at the event will will be Clay Wachholz who brings a diverse and successful career as a music educator. Wachholz currently serves as the director of bands at Cedarburg High School in Cedarburg - Wisconsin. Other teaching positions in the past have included the director of bands at the International School of Brussels in Belgium and that of director of bands at Plymouth-Canton Educational Park in Canton - Michigan. There he led the marching bands to two consecutive first place finishes at the state marching band championships as well placing 9th and 3rd at the Bands of America National Championships.
