The corps will be performing 'Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleetstreet'.
Sweeney Todd is a grizzly story of a wronged man, stolen love and dastardly deeds. 6th Hove will tell the gruesome tale of Benjamin Barker's return to London to wreak revenge on the Judge that banished him, to gain the love of Barkers wife.
Full of hatred Barker sets up shop back in Fleetstreet from wence he came, above Mrs Lovett's Pie Shop. Mrs Lovett recognises 'Todd' for whom she has always carried a torch, and she schemes to capture his love and enrolls him into her plans for improving her pie recipes, with human flesh. But in the end the truth prevails with devastating consequences.
