Spirit of Coventry looking for more staff
Following on from a very successful 2008 season, Spirit of Coventry are looking for staff/instructors in various key areas to facilitate the new season. The corps are hoping to compete in both DCUK and BYBA in 2009.
The corps is looking for a corps coordinator, guard caption head, front line caption head, percussion staff and brass caption head. Apart from their front line caption head from 2008 all the other positions were covered by marching members and so to progress with the growth of the corps to fill these positions with non marching personnel would really help.
Spirit of Coventry are quite happy to talk to anyone starting out as an instructor and they are are firm believers in giving new blood a chance. Alternatively elder, more experienced people would be equally welcomed.
The Corps rehearse two hours on a Wednesday and four hours on a Sunday (normally 2-6) with no rehearsals on Bank Holidays. (Text: dcuk.org.uk)
