The Pride to take part in WGI again
The Pride from Huizen - The Netherlands presents their 2009 program entitled: 'La Vie Boheme'. The Pride of The Netherlands is a 2008 WGI Independent Open World Championships Finalist and will compete in IO again in 2009.
The 27 members of The Pride Open will bring the unusual , sometimes abstract, sometimes literal, life of an artist to the winter guard floor. About ninety percent of members in The Pride Open 09 are from the youth education program of the organization. There are lots of familiar faces in the team, and also a couple of new faces.
Also, new to the staff for 2009 is American Trevor Davis, who has come to The Netherlands for this winter. He will build upon the advanced dance education fundamentals that Erick Bacon created with The Pride over the past two years. In addition to Davis, Robby Overvliet, Sylvia Vos and Tamara Zuijdervliet will be responsible for the artistic creation and instruction of 'La Vie Boheme'.
