Kidsgrove Scouts present 'Cirque D'illusion'
For 2008 and the foreseeable future the Kidsgrove Scouts senior corps will remain an open age unit. The 2008 program is very exciting and promises to be a real hit with all aspects of the audience.
Following the success of 2007, both on and off the competition field the corps will continue to offer families and members the opportunity to lead a healthy balanced life style and to continue to participate in drum corps at the highest level.
There are a few adaptations to the rehearsal schedule in order to be highly productive at key moments in the drum corps calendar, but the overall ethos of rehearsal will remain the same.
With a larger corps to perform, the show is going to be awesome, very innovative and modern but retained the impact GE model that Kidsgrove has produced year on year. The senior corps continues to go from strength to strength at a very rapid rate, the membership growing in all sections with both quality members who are returning to drum corps after a break and new members coming through the ranks of the junior set ups. "We now have a wealth of experience and quality within the staff and membership which allows us to strive for exceptional performances and productions at all times", the corps states on their website.
The Kidsgrove Scouts are holding open rehearsals on the afternoons of Sunday 11th November and Sunday 25th November. All prospective members, staff and supporters are welcome to attend. For more details contact Robert Swindells (Corps Coordinator): coordinator@kidsgrovescouts.org.
