Senators take top honours at second DCUK contest
The Senators Drum & Bugle Corps from Eastleigh topped the second DCUK contest, last Saturday in Wood Green - London. The Kidsgrove Scouts came in second.
The Black Knights from Gravesend managed to grow towards the top two corps in the International Open Class. The gap of 11.5 at the Western Beat contest last month was reduced to 5.55 at the contest Saturday.
The Field Brass, Field Percussion, Ensemble Music, Field Visual, Color Guard and Music Effect captions in the International Open Class went to The Senators. The Kidsgrove Scouts took Ensemble Visual and Visual Effect.
Concord won the National Open Class. The Black Knights were the only corps in the National Junior Class. The next DCUK contest will be held in Leigh on July 22nd.
