Blue Devils win Allentown
The Blue Devils have won the big DCI contest in Allentown. Sunday night they scored 86.475, bypassing The Cavaliers with 1.15 points. The Cadets, who performed on Saturday night, scored 85.700.
The Blue Devils have been switching top positions with the Cavaliers during their last few meetings at Drum Corps International competitions, and even though the West Coast corps earned the highest score of the 2007 Summer Music Games to date tonight, they will continue to challenge themselves to make sure each upcoming performance is better than their last.
Although the Blue Stars are only in their second season as a Division I corps in recent years, they are having a strong year with their 2007 program 'Power and Grace', and remain confident that their season will only get stronger.
The scores from this weekend's competitions also determined the corps lineup for this Friday's Masters of the Summer Music Games major event in Murfreesboro - Tennessee. There the top eight drum corps of the season will face off yet again.
