Composers work with Millennium staff and members
It has been an intense week for Millennium, but it paid off. Key Poulan, Shawn Glyde and Dan Bryan, Millennium's music composers, came over to Verdello to help the corps in the process of bringing their show '1492: Mundus Novus' to life.
The sections of the corps worked separately during the week. The music has been changed a bit, especially some new sounds in the pit, and everything was put together during the weekend rehearsal where the drill was added to the music. Key, Shawn and Dan were impressed to see the quality level, considering that Millennium is the only drum corps in Italy. Key Poulan is an arranger for Santa Clara Vanguard, Shawn Glyde have been a Blue Devils instructor for a long time, and Dan Bryan is a DCI judge.
"Getting to work with such talented and dedicated artists made this week very special for all of us", a corps spokesman said. "We are already planning to make sure they will be back very soon."
