TEN changes name to DCEE
Stichting Top Evenementen Nederland (Netherlands Top Events Foundation) has changed its name. It is now called Drum Corps Events Europe (DCEE), as they feel that the name TEN no longer corresponds to their activities.
TEN has chosen DCEE as its new name as it better suits the foundation's area of work. In June, DCEE will be organising the European Drum Corps League during the European tour of the Cavaliers. DCEE has invited the national champions to participate in this league.
DCEE certainly does not intend to present itself as DCE, explains TEN/DCEE's Rob van Koningshoven to the editor of marsenshow.nl. Van Koningshoven says he expects little confusion between DCE and DCEE, especially as DCE is already widely known. "The choice of the new name was based on the principles of the organisation; the name selected was the most obvious choice."
