Richard Saucedo joins Northern Star
Northern Star Drum & Bugle Corps from Leeds - UK have appointed Richard Saucedo as the corps' brass arranger for the 2007 season. "Richard brings a whole realm of knowledge and experience to Star's design team and we are incredibly excited to have him writing for for us", said Northern Star's Program Co-ordinator Mark Pickles. Richard L. Saucedo is currently in his 21st year as director of Bands and Music Technology at Carmel High School in Carmel - Indiana. Under his direction Carmel bands have received numerous state and national honours in the areas of concert, jazz and marching. He is also a freelance arranger and composer, having released several marching band arrangements and concert band pieces.
Richard is currently on the writing staff for the Hal Leonard Publishing Corporation. Richard is possibly best known for his works for the Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps from Rosemont - Illionios, where he has composed and arranged for the past 7 years.
