No big changes in next DCUK season
The competitive season of Drum Corps United Kingdom will be about the same as this year's. The British drum corps organization has published dates & places for 2005 on its website.
The competition in 2005 will again feature eight shows (which is more than the competitions in any other European country), including the British Drum Corps Championships in the first weekend of October. Although there was some discussion on the DCUK forum recently about bringing the Championships forward to earlier in the year, the event will be hold during the same weekend again.
The DCUK season 2005 will feature these shows:
Sunday, June 5: Saffron Lane, Leicester (to be confirmed)
Sunday, June 19: Aldershot Rugby Ground (to be confirmed)
Sunday, July 3: Robin Park Arena, Wigan (to be confirmed)
Sunday, July 17: venue to be confirmed
Sunday, July 24: venue to be confirmed
Sunday, September 4: Grantham Town Football Club
Sunday, September 11: venue to be confirmed
Sunday, September 18: Newport Stadium, Newport, Wales
October 1 or 2: Finals, venue to be confirmed
