Name: Jana Duyzer
DCE position: catering staff
Age: 15
Residence: Middelburg
Studying: Care and Welfare
Drum corps past: "I don't
really have one. I got involved via my boyfriend Jochem, who has also
recently started helping DCE. In Zeeland, I've seen a corps marching
though the town, but I've never played myself. My friends aren't really
interested in it either. I think I'll soon take up street dancing or
start going to the gym."
With DCE since: "This year."
Why? "Because Jochem helps out
and I don't mind doing it. I enjoy it and haven't really seen or done
anything like it before. It all looks so professional. I can see how it
differs to fanfares."
Do you enjoy being off the field?
"I really enjoy listening to the music and helping out. Everyone is
great fun and I can be with boyfriend, haha. I'm really looking forward
to next year."
Best drum corps moment: "There
haven't been that many yet. I saw a show I thought was really good. It
was a spectacular performance, but I can't remember which corps it was.
Do you remember Jochem? Oh, it was Northern Star!"
