during the 2004 and 2005 seasons.
David Pope will also take responsibility for the additional areas that
the organisation is pursuing to widen our activity base, these already
include a competitive winter drumline and senior pit ensemble.
More diversity is planned including the opening of a Music and Dance
Academy, to teach younger members, without the restrictions a
competitive season puts upon them and allow them to progress at there
own speed, with the eventual aim of moving to one or more of the other
activities we offer.
With regards to the main corps, the intention is for it to return to
competitive competition in 2007, more news of which will follow
shortly. The corps is currently seeking staff and performers for all
our activities, so if you would like to be part of the future that is
Southern Aurora, please visit www.southernaurora.org.uk.
