UK top corps enter DCE Championships
For the first time ever, all the best English drum corps will be attending the European drum corps championships next year. Senators, Kidsgrove Scouts, Northern Star and Black Knights will be taking part in the competition. The Dutch and German top teams will also be present.
Senators Drum & Bugle Corps from Eastleigh are the reigning (and seven-time) champions of Drum Corps United Kingdom. This year, Kidsgrove Scouts reached second place in the DCUK competition, followed by the Black Knights from Gravesend in third. Northern Star from Leeds did not take part in DCUK during the 2005 season, but were able to achieve a convincing win in the BYBA Division I.
Just as in earlier editions, the top Dutch and German teams will also be coming to the EC. The DCE European Championships promises to be an even more spectacular event than in previous years.
