Distant Thunder have another win under their belt
Distant Thunder Show Corps from Bedford have marched to their second victory in two weeks with a win at the Midlands British Youth Band Association Show at Walsall - UK.
Distant Thunder marching a show with excerpts from West Side Story took High Percussion, General Visual Effect, General Music Effect and Drill to give them a total of 646 points in Division 2 (BYBA marking system is out of 1000 points).
Corps director John Dimmick commented: "This is a significant victory for the corps and sets the correct platform for us to move forward over the coming weeks. This is the perfect build up to the corps participation in the DCE show in Belgium, which we as a corps are looking forward to competing in."
Distant Thunder will be competing this year in 7 BYBA shows and 2 DCE shows.
