Ticket sale DCE Championships postponed
The ticket sale for the DCE European Championships has been postponed. At the start of the ticket sale, the website received too much traffic which caused the server to go down.
It seems that every year more and more people want to buy good tickets for the DCE European Championships. And we are prepared for that, or at least, we thought we were. But the huge amount of traffic to the website was too much for the server and it went down.
We have tried to fix the problem with our webhost, but when this took too long we decided to postpone the ticket sale. "All drum corps fans deserve the same chance to order good tickets for the DCE European Championships", DCE board member Marco Janssen said. "But unfortunately this didn't seem to be possible anymore."
The start of the ticket sale will be moved to another date. We can't confirm a new date yet, but we will communicate this well in advance through our website, Facebook and Twitter.
