With the announcement of the location of the French contest, Indoor Percussion Europe has finalised its season. It took a little longer to confirm the French site than IPE had expected.
There were participants for the French contest, but it was more difficult for Indoor Percussion Europe than expected to find a good venue. They finally managed this with Salle Jean le Plat in Hem, near Lille. Currently, five participants from France and Belgium have signed up for the French IPE contest.
In adition to the recently completed Irish contest, a contest in Sweden is scheduled on Sunday 2nd March. Nine groups from Sweden and Denmark will appear at the starting line of this contest. The European indoor percussion season will end on Sunday 7th April at Tournai, Belgium, where eleven units from four countries will compete for the European titles.
