German Open 2013 on the first Saturday of September
Next year's German Open will be held on Saturday 7th September, it's been announced by the organisation. The Weserbergland Stadium in Hameln will once again be the setting for the German Open drum corps championships.
The date for the event was established after consultation with the other partners in the European Music Games. Last month, â??â??Drum Corps Netherlands, and Drum Corps United Kingdom also announced the competition dates for the upcoming season.
September is traditionally a very busy month, with many national championships and of course the European Championships. As always, the 2013 German Open will be part of the European Music Games. The event will therefore be judged by the DCE judging panel based on the DCE Competition Manual.
