Northern Academy tops WGUK Stoke contest
25 units converged on Fenton Manor Sports Centre in Stoke On Trent for the UK Midlands Regional on Saturday 25th February. The class winners today were Anchormen Cadets in the Cadet Class, Southern Knights in the Junior Class, Southern Knights in the A and Northern Academy in Open Class.
In a change to the normal ending of show the highest scoring unit from the Cadet, Junior or A Class were given the chance to perform a repeat exhibition performance and this honour went to Southern Knights Juniors. Next weekend WGUK are supporting a contest in France with a few UK units travelling over to take part and the next WGUK event is on Sunday 18th March with 21 units attending the last southern based show of the season in Burgess Hill.
