European news in Drum Corps World
The latest issue of Drum Corps World has filled quite a few editorial columns with European drum corps and percussion news. The cover of the online magazine features European pictures.
Drum Corps World has always looked further than the American borders, and the worldwide approach of drum corps is proven once again in the first issue of 2012. It starts on the cover with pictures of the Starriders, Juliana and Kadoudal taken during the 2011 DCE European Championships.
Inside the magazine, Indoor Percussion Europe gets plenty of attention with two articles: the Individuals & Ensembles competition (page 21) and the upcoming European indoor percussion season (page 25). In addition, more than half a page is dedicated to the series of clinics by Gifford Howarth at Beatrix (page 32). The participants' list of the 2012 DCE European Championships is also featured in the columns of Drum Corps World (page 46).
