Heartliner will return in 2012 with a new uniform
The Heartliner corps from Ludwigshafen - Germany will be back in the European competition next year. The corps has announced a new show as well as a new uniform.
With the new show 'The British Way' Heartliner immerses itself in the modern British pop genre. The corps will make its appearance in a whole new uniform. About 100 people attended the corps' open day on October, so the board and staff and faith in what is to come for 2012.
Heartliner plan to take part in the German Open, Drum Corps Netherlands and Drum Corps Europe contests in 2012. The design team consists of Damon Bates from the UK (brass), Maarten Deschacht from Belgium (field percussion and front ensemble), Volker Tonn (drill), Jennifer Röhr and Daniela Baum (guard).
At the end of last year, Heartliner announced that the corps would not be participating in any contests in 2011 due to the unexpected resignation of a large number of the horn line members and the loss of a major sponsor. At the time, the corps already announced its determination to return in 2012.
